I don't even have to work, which for me is something I haven't experienced in years. Usually when I try to take off I have to check email or S&*% hits the fan and I need to come save the day. It's nice to be in a place with no technology and cell phone reception at times can be scarce. It's a time to rest and just be at peace.
I also get to spend one day with no dog to worry about. I'm also looking forward to getting some open water swims and exploring new places on my runs!!
